Working with me looks like…

  • EMDR and somatic skills for trauma treatment

    We will work on building the mind-body connection; establishing connection between what you feel and how you feel it. This helps us establish somatic cues for grounding skills, which we will use alongside EMDR targeting and processing to help move trauma that feels “stuck” within you.

  • Depression and anxiety management

    Depression and anxiety, both chronic and situational, can impact how we move through our days. Together, we will build insight to triggers through history taking and daily reflections, which can help us establish authentic and effective coping strategies to help you feel like you again.

  • Relationships and boundary setting

    Our attachments, more specifically attachment styles, have deep impact on our lives. Our relationships are often the cornerstone of our worlds. The ways we connect-and disconnect-from our people is meaningful. Our work will focus on strengthening the relationships that serve you and lift you, and establish needed boundaries in the relationships and spaces that do more harm than good.

I understand what it feels like to be overwhelmed, anxious and burned out when on the surface life appears like its all together. That’s why I focus my work on supporting individuals like you go deeper to understand the root of the problem and help unstick what feels stuck.

I work with a dynamic approach, helping our sessions to feel more like conversation where we can be open for reflection and curious about what we discover. I blend skills from EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, ACT and attachment therapy to provide my clients with a trauma and body informed approach that lets us sink further in the feelings and make authentic change.

I know starting can feel scary, which is why I work collaboratively with my clients to determine the pacing of our work and check in throughout the process with how you feel and what you need.

Together, we will build a relationship that feels safe enough to establish your goals, reflect on your experiences, and build insight for the growth you need. We will work together to make sure we have you, feeling like you again.

What to expect when you work with me:

  • Reach out to schedule a free 15min consultation call where we discuss what brings you to therapy and I answer any questions I can about how I work with my clients and the work we can do together.

  • Join me each week for our 45min session to explore feelings and patterns you want to better understand or change. Together, we will ask questions in an empathetic and curious way to gain more clarity on what serves you as well as what does not. We will build new skills, set new boundaries, and give more grace to the parts of you that need more care.

  • As our work progresses, you will be able to find more confidence in knowing what you feel and how you feel it. You will be able to communicate these feelings and their needs to those in your life. You will feel more in control of you and can start to make progress in building the life you want to live.
